Primal Flow Dance

Primal Flow Dance™ is based in freeform dance movement, vibration, breathwork, and deep grounding.

Imagine the reverse of Ecstatic Dance and 5Rhythms. We begin not in the clouds but on the ground—where most of us begin the day: a little tangled in thought, not yet fully in the body. Instead of airy, meditative sounds, the first call is a low, resonant bass and the solitary heartbeat of kick drums. Slowly, the rhythm thickens—more percussion, then melody and chords—until the room blooms into full-bodied dance music.

From there, the current turns. The drums recede, leaving textures and tones that lift you into spaciousness, a place where the body can dissolve and the spirit drift. After lingering in that openness, we follow the path back, sound by sound, until only the deep, steady drum remains—rooting us once more in the earth.

This experience is a living invitation to freeform movement and intuitive expression. A space where breath and music carry you beyond thought and into feeling.

These gatherings are intentional, conscious, and alcohol-free. Silence is part of the alchemy, allowing you to listen inward and move without judgment—of yourself, of others, of the mysterious ways we dance and become still.

I perform at all sorts of gatherings, including music festivals, medicine ceremonies, ecstatic dance, yoga studios, private gatherings, corporate events, retreats & more.

SUGGESTIONS PRIOR TO THE EXPERIENCE

  • Abstain from caffeine, sugar, and heavy meals/food at least 3 hours beforhand.
  • Tech: Phones and smart watches, turn off or put in Airport Mode, set to Do Not Disturb, vibrations set to off, alarms turned off.
  • Notice how difficult it may be to permit yourself to fully unplug from these things. This could be a place where increased awareness may lend itself toward releasing dependency on technology, social media, etc…

Sound healing utilizes the vibrational frequencies of sound to promote relaxation, balance, and well-being. It involves the use of singing bowls, gongs, and other instruments to create harmonious vibrations that resonate with the body. Sound healing journeys are immersive experiences where individuals engage in sessions or workshops incorporating various sound tools, allowing them to embark on a transformative and meditative exploration of their inner selves through the healing power of sound.
