How I Work

Most people find me for the body. Something hurts, or holds, or will not settle, and they have usually tried several other things first. That is a good enough reason to come, and for plenty of people it stays the whole reason.

It is not the only thing that happens in the room, though, and after twenty-three years I have stopped pretending otherwise. A lot of what people actually use me for is the other thing: someone who can see what is going on with them and say it plainly.

What intuitive guidance actually means here

I want to be precise about this, because those words attract a lot of nonsense.

I am not psychic. I do not read minds, predict your future, or channel anything. What I do is closer to what any experienced person does in their own field. Across more than eight thousand sessions I have watched a very large number of people at close range, in a state where they are not performing for anybody. Patterns become obvious. What somebody is working around tends to show up in how they hold their shoulders a long time before it shows up in what they say.

So when I tell you what I am noticing, it is an observation, offered for you to test against your own life. Sometimes it lands straight away. Sometimes it is wrong and you say so, which is just as useful. It is not a verdict, and you are not required to accept any of it.

It is rarely only about the body

The range is wider than the table. People bring me decisions about work and money, patterns in their relationships and their families, physical things the medical route has not resolved, and the larger question of what to do next.

I am comfortable across all of it, and I have never found those to be four separate problems. Usually they are one problem showing up in four places.

I did not arrive here from a wellness background. Before any of this I worked in the military, in corporate life, in hospitality, in entertainment, and in healthcare, and I have owned my own businesses. That range is the point. Whatever world you are coming from, the chances are good that I have sat in a room like it, and you will not have to explain it to me from the beginning.

What this is not

Not psychotherapy. I am not a psychotherapist, psychologist, or counselor, and when what somebody needs is that, I say so and point them toward it.

Not medical care. I do not diagnose or treat conditions.

Not fortune telling. Nothing here predicts what is going to happen to you.

Not a replacement for anyone you already work with. I would rather work alongside your doctor and your therapist than instead of them.

Where to start

A phone call. It is free, it takes about twenty minutes, and it is genuinely just a conversation to work out whether I am the right person for what you are carrying. I would rather tell you I am not than take your money.
