Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions about sessions, scheduling, and what to expect
Phone Consultation (free): Every new client starts with a free 15 minute phone consultation so we can discuss your goals and make sure we are a good fit. Schedule a call here.
Initial Session ($180): Your first session explores a combination of cranial sacral therapy, Myofascial Release, Sound Healing, Young Self Work, and Breathwork, tailored to your needs using the Capacity for Self Method framework.
Things to bring: Your calendar or smartphone (for scheduling follow-ups) and payment.
I want to be honest about what this is, because it saves us both time.
I do not heal people. I help you see and look at the things you may not be addressing, so that you can heal yourself. That is the whole method.
What that means in practice: I will ask you direct questions. I will sometimes point at something you already know and have been setting aside. And I will ask what you are willing to change between sessions, because the sessions on their own will not carry it.
If what you are looking for is someone to make you feel better every couple of weeks while everything else stays the same, I am not the right person for that, and I would rather say so kindly now than have you find out after spending money. If you are willing to look at what is actually going on, even when it is uncomfortable, this work goes deep and it holds.
The free phone consultation is where we find that out together, with no commitment either way.
Scheduling: Bring your calendar.
Intention: Spend 5 minutes the night before reflecting on what you would like to focus on.
What to Wear: Loose, comfortable clothing.
Substances & Diet: Avoid large meals, caffeine, alcohol, and pain medications within 2 hours of your session.
Scents & Lotions: Please arrive free of perfumes, essential oils, and body oils / lotions.
People come to me with all kinds of things. What they usually have in common is a pattern the body has been holding for a long time, not a single symptom to be removed.
Physical: Chronic Pain, Migraines, TMJ, Autoimmune disorders, PNES/FND, Parkinson's, neurological conditions
Non-Physical: Feeling "stuck," Anxiety, Trauma Recovery (PTSD, CPTSD, DTD), Addictive patterns, Procrastination
To be clear about what this is: I do not diagnose, treat, or cure any of these. I work with the person living with them. What the sessions do is help you find and feel what your system has been holding, so it can begin to let go and reorganize on its own. How far that goes depends as much on what you change in your daily life as on what happens on the table.

No. I do not bill insurance, and in most cases insurance does not cover this kind of work. Please plan on paying for sessions yourself.
If you would like a detailed receipt for your own records, or to submit to your plan on your own, I am glad to write one for you. What I cannot do is tell you whether it will be reimbursed. Most of the time it is not, so please do not book on the assumption that it will be.
Some clients use an HSA or FSA card. Whether your session qualifies is between you and your plan administrator, and not something I am able to confirm.
Payment is handled at the beginning of the session, before you are settled and relaxed.
Cash is my preferred method. I also accept checks, Venmo, and credit cards. Sessions booked online can be paid at checkout, and you can always make a payment here if that is easier.
Packages and memberships let you prepay at a discount, up to 30 percent off, if you know you will be coming regularly.
My approach is built on the Capacity for Self Method, a proprietary framework I developed through years of clinical experience:
- Somatics, Mind/Body Connection and nervous system regulation
- Suggestive Touch, cranial sacral therapy & Myofascial Release
- Parts Work, Working with the Grounded Self vs. Activated/Dysregulated Parts (drawing from IFS and the Tamura Method)
- Presence & Allowance, Creating space for the body's natural healing intelligence
- Sound & Breath, Therapeutic sound healing and somatic breathwork techniques
Each session is a unique blend of these modalities, tailored to what your body needs that day.
What you do between sessions is just as important as the sessions themselves. Here are my core recommendations:
Sleep: Aim for 6 to 8 hours of quality sleep each night. Your body does its deepest healing during rest.
Hydration: Drink at least 60 ounces of water daily. Proper hydration supports fascial health and helps flush toxins released during bodywork.
Movement: 30+ minutes of walking or gentle exercise daily. Movement helps integrate the changes from your session.
Breath & Sunlight: Practice deep diaphragmatic breathing and face the sun for 3 minutes, once daily (ideally in the morning). This activates your parasympathetic nervous system and supports circadian rhythm.
Nutrition: Eat clean, non-GMO whole foods appropriate for your age and activity level. Avoid processed foods when possible.
Awareness: Pay attention to any shifts, physical sensations, emotions, dreams, or patterns that surface. These are often signs of the body processing and healing.
Sound baths are immersive healing experiences using crystal singing bowls, gongs, chimes, and other instruments. You lie down comfortably while waves of therapeutic sound wash over you, promoting deep relaxation and nervous system regulation.
Private Sound Baths: Book a one-on-one or small group sound bath experience ($280 for studio sessions). Whether it is just you or a few friends, this is a deeply personal journey tailored to your intentions. Book a private session.
Public Sound Bath Events: I also host group sound baths and special themed events (like candlelight and full moon sound baths) at various locations. These are a wonderful, accessible introduction to sound healing. Check the events page for upcoming dates and tickets.
Mobile Sound Baths: I can bring the full sound bath experience to your location, home, office, retreat center, or special venue. Book a mobile sound bath for pricing and availability.
Yes. Virtual sessions ($180) include somatic inquiry, parts work, guided self-applied bodywork using tools like a Suboccipital Release device and therapy balls, breathwork, and meditation. I use a professional streaming setup to layer voice guidance over live-mixed music during the session, creating an immersive experience that goes well beyond a standard video call.
Virtual sessions are available to clients anywhere in the world. Learn more about virtual sessions or book directly.

Your Cyclical Rhythm reads the natural rise and fall of your energy as four inner seasons: a winter of rest, a spring of return, a summer of peak, and an autumn of winding down. It is the one part of your Human Map that comes from inside your own body rather than the sky or the numbers, so it meets you on whatever clock your body keeps, whether that is a monthly cycle, a daily arc, or the turning of the moon. It is a mirror for the rhythm you are already living, never a prediction of it.
Yes. The four inner seasons belong to every body, and only the length of the clock changes. If you have a monthly cycle you can privately log it and see your own seasons. If you do not, whether you are a man, past menopause, or simply not tracking, the same four seasons are read from the moon's rhythm instead. Nothing is stored unless you choose to log it, and your cycle data is encrypted and yours to remove at any time.
No. It is a reflective practice for self-understanding, not medical, contraceptive, or fertility guidance. It never tells you when you are fertile, and it is nothing to plan a pregnancy around or away from. Any concern about your cycle is a conversation for your own healthcare provider. Here it is only ever a gentle mirror for the rhythm you are living.
