Somatic Support for Clients Living with Parkinson's
Parkinson's disease involves progressive changes in movement, balance, and nervous system function. While somatic bodywork does not reverse the neurological changes, it can significantly improve quality of life by addressing the secondary patterns of tension, rigidity, and emotional holding.
What to Expect
Work with Parkinson's focuses on maintaining function and quality of life. Sessions are adapted to your current abilities and may include gentle mobilization, cranial work, and nervous system regulation. Many clients report improved sleep, reduced anxiety, better balance, and more ease in daily movements. We work collaboratively with your neurologist and care team to ensure integrated support.
