Gentle, attuned somatic support for bodies living with Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, worked with slowly, built on trust, and never pushed.
If you are living with Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, you already know your body in ways most people never will. You know the joints that slip and subluxate, the pain that moves and never fully leaves, the fatigue, the fragile skin that bruises and heals slowly, and the quiet exhaustion of a nervous system that has been bracing for a long time. For many, EDS also travels with companions like dysautonomia, POTS, or mast cell activation, layered on top of everything else. Maybe you have also been pushed too hard by well-meaning hands, or dismissed altogether. I want you to know something first: you are not too much, and you are not a problem to be solved.
I have had real success with EDS clients, and many of the people I see come to me on an ongoing basis, week after week and month after month. What builds over that time is trust. Your body learns that in my hands it will be worked with gently, never forced, and that I am listening to your feedback the whole way through. I am here to support you and to help you feel more at home in your body.
What to Expect
In our first sessions, we go slowly. I learn your body, your particular joints and sensitivities, what helps and what has hurt before, and together we find the pace and pressure that feel safe for you. Nothing is forced, and you stay in charge of your own edges the entire time. Many EDS clients feel a real difference in ease, in pain, and in how settled their nervous system feels, and they choose to keep coming because this gentle, steady support serves these bodies well.
I want to be honest about what this is. EDS is genetic and lifelong, and nothing I do changes that or replaces your medical care. My work lives alongside your own doctors and medical team as education and gentle somatic support. What I can offer is a consistent, trusted place to be worked with kindly, to ease what can be eased, and to build, over time, a little more comfort and capacity in the body you live in.
