It takes about thirty-seven minutes to get from Sonoma to my studio in Cotati.
People from Sonoma make that trip, and they keep making it, and the reason has very little to do with convenience.
What brings people from the valley
From Sonoma and the surrounding valley, the reasons I hear most are emotional, spiritual and body-based: loss or change that has not finished moving through, a feeling of being disconnected from yourself, a body that has held on for a long time.
None of that needs a label. We start with what you notice, and we work from there.
A room that earns the drive
When you walk in, the first thing you will notice is the space. High ceilings, wood floors, big paintings, tall teal curtains, deep armchairs, a table, bowls and gongs, all arranged as one calm room rather than squeezed into the corner of a shared suite.
It was designed so that you can stop managing yourself the moment you arrive.
