Virtual Somatic Coaching & Integration

Building Capacity from Anywhere

You do not need to be in Cotati to engage with the T.I.M.E. framework.

While my studio sessions focus on Structural Integration (Hands-on Bodywork), my virtual work focuses on Internal & Resonant Integration—the pillars of Mind and Spirit.

How It Works Virtually

We work directly with your Felt Sense. Through guided Somatic Inquiry and Parts Work, we track where your body is holding capacity and where it is blocking flow. This is not just “talking about” your problems. It is an active, experiential session where we:

  • Map your Nervous System: Identify where you are stuck in “Survival Mode.”
  • Unblend from Protectors: Give you space from the anxiety or critical voices running the show.
  • Build Somatic Safety: Teach you to self-regulate and widen your window of tolerance.

The Body is the Subconscious Mind

I believe that the body is the subconscious mind. It holds the score of everything we have experienced.

If we try to heal using only the logical mind (talk therapy), we often hit a wall because the body is still running a survival program. It becomes ill without deliberate acknowledgement and willingness on our part to feel into everything it has taken on.

My virtual coaching bridges this gap. We help the conscious mind (the Adult) create a safe, collaborative partnership with the body (the Inner Child/Subconscious).

Rewiring the Stress Response (Neuroplasticity)

Many of my clients come to me working with PTSD, C-PTSD, high stress, or chronic anxiety. I’ve been there too, and I understand on a deep level what it takes to achieve freedom from the grasp these conditions impose.

We use Somatic Mindfulness to improve Neuroplasticity—your brain’s ability to reprogram itself.

  • The Problem: When we live in survival mode, our neuro-pathways are paved highways to “Fear” and “Reaction.”
  • The Solution: By bringing unconditional presence to our internal sensations, we stop reinforcing the old highways. We build new roads toward safety, adaptability, and resilience.

This isn’t just about relaxation; it is about reclaiming your ability to process, learn, and heal from the side effects of trauma and stress.

My Unique Approach

I have put my own twist on foundational principles from Internal Family Systems (IFS), Somatic Experiencing, Hakomi, and Trauma-Informed Care.

I synthesized these into the T.I.M.E. Method because I found that “mindfulness” alone wasn’t enough—we need a map. We work on letting go of maintaining control, letting go of rejecting reality, and surrendering to what is.

Gaining a realistic understanding of your internal landscape is the first step towards embodying true change.

MY OWN TWIST

I have put my own twist on many foundational principles originating from Internal Family Systems (IFS), Somatic Psychology/Counseling, Somatic Experiencing, Somato-Emotional Release Therapy (SER), Hakomi Mindfullness Therapy, and Trauma Informed approaches.

Breathwork

Breathwork influences the autonomic nervous system, promoting relaxation or alertness by modulating heart rate, blood pressure, and stress levels. Controlled breathwork can foster balance and calmness within the body and mind, as well as assist in releasing stuck energy & emotion.

Sound & Music Therapy

Sound healing utilizes the vibrational frequencies of sound to promote relaxation, balance, and well-being. It involves the use of singing bowls, gongs, and other instruments to create harmonious vibrations that resonate with the body. Sound healing journeys are immersive experiences where individuals engage in sessions or workshops incorporating various sound tools, allowing them to embark on a transformative and meditative exploration of their inner selves through the healing power of sound.

Inner Child / IFS / Tamura Method

Inner parts work, including approaches like Internal Family Systems (IFS) and The Tamura Method, involves exploring and understanding different facets of one's psyche or internal "parts." These parts represent distinct aspects of an individual's personality, emotions, and experiences. Through therapeutic interventions, individuals can foster self-awareness, integrate these parts, and promote emotional healing and growth.

Energetic Balancing

Energetic balancing is a holistic approach of promoting harmony and equilibrium in the body's energy systems. The aim is to identify and address imbalances in the body's energy flow, such as disruptions in the flow of chi or prana, to promote overall well-being. The goal is restoring balance and facilitating the body's innate ability to heal itself.

Myofascial Release (MFR) - John F Barne's Approach

Myofascial Release (MFR) is a manual therapy technique that focuses on releasing tension and restrictions in the fascia, the connective tissue that surrounds and supports muscles, bones, and organs. Barnes' approach involves sustained pressure and stretching to facilitate the release of fascial restrictions, promoting improved flexibility, range of motion, and alleviation of pain. Addressing fascial restrictions can have positive effects on past trauma trapped in the tissue, as well as overall well-being by addressing the root causes of physical discomfort and dysfunction.

CranioSacral Therapy

CranioSacral Therapy is a gentle alternative therapy that involves manipulating the craniosacral system, which encompasses the membranes and cerebrospinal fluid surrounding the brain and spinal cord. It employs subtle touch and manipulation techniques to identify and address imbalances in this system, aiming to enhance the body's natural healing abilities.

Somatic Awareness

Somatic mindfullness and coaching is a holistic approach that integrates the mind, body, and spirit. Through this practice, clients are guided to develop a deeper awareness of their physical sensations and emotions. This heightened awareness leads to improved self-regulation, emotional resilience, and a better understanding of the body's responses to life's challenges.
